While yoga was my first love, since discovering Pilates I’m now convinced the two are a match made in heaven.

With a strong emphasis on boosting core strength, Pilates may not always look like it, but it’s an intense workout for the entire body.

Pilates is great for all ages and is enjoyed by everyone from complete beginners to professional athletes and sportspeople.

If you’re looking to improve posture, ease back aches and boost your balance through increased core strength, Pilates could be for you.

Workplace Pilates can have huge benefits for your staff – and your business.

Pilates can be a fantastic addition to any corporate wellness programme, with healthy employees generally happier employees.

The physical benefits of Pilates can also help with the postural, back, leg and foot problems experienced by many employees working at desks.

And the great thing is Pilates can be practised almost anywhere – meaning the workplace is a great place for a lunchtime, or after-work, session!

Pilates with Seer Wellbeing

I like to focus on variety when it comes to my Pilates classes in North London.

Using props like tubes, flexible bands and rollers is a great way to mix up mat work in Pilates and these techniques work for the beginner and intermediate level students I teach.
